Monday 19 September saw the press launch of Britain’s Biggest Curry Party at Maharaja of India off Leicester Square. Journalists and food bloggers were treated to a sumptuous 2-course meal plus a rousing speech from JWF founder and
broadcaster, James Whale. We want to thank Gurpareet Bains for creating a special BBCP-inspired recipe, our official sponsor Mongoose beer and also Saleem at Maharaja for a wonderful lunch.

Friends gather in memory of father

Two dozen friends gathered at Jackie and Martin Gill’s home in Healing near Grimsby in memory of Jackie’s dad. "We held it on Friday 28 October as near as we could to Britains Biggest Curry Party and also in memory of my father who died of kidney cancer in October 2007". Visit the Flickr feed here.
